Master Gordon began his Tang Soo Do Training under the
instruction of Grandmaster Shin in 1982, and has been a member of the World Tang
Soo Do Association (W.T.S.D.A.) since its inception. He currently holds the rank
of 4th Degree Master.
He has served on the W.T.S.D.A.'s Board of Directors, as Director of Public
Relations. Master Gordon was Chief Instructor and General Manager for
Grandmaster Shin, supervising and teaching at three schools, including World
Tang Soo Do Headquarters. He is recognized for his expertise in self-defense,
and is Certified by the Pennsylvania State Police to teach the unarmed portion
of the Lethal Weapons Act 235 program. Master Gordon has served as Master of
Ceremonies for all Region 8 and World Championships since 1988. Master Gordon
also trained in Judo as a youngster, Tae Kwon Do while in the Army, and has done
cross training in both Hapkido and Kudokan Judo
