Michael J. DiPietro, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
The Academy for Martial Arts Training (AMAT) will offer a total of four scholarships – valued at approximately $1,500 each – to honor the memory of Master Michael DiPietro, Jr., a South Philadelphia native who began his training at Shin Karate Institute. Throughout his life, Master DiPietro distinguished himself as a fierce tournament competitor and champion, successful studio owner, and an inspiring teacher within the art of Tang Soo Do. Above all, he was a beloved family man and friend and holds a special place in the hearts of so many.
The scholarship will include the following at no cost to the winner(s) for one-full year at Shin Karate Institute in South Philadelphia:

Introductory class and all regular martial arts classest
Full uniformt
Sparring geart
All required rank testing fees.Scholarship recipients will be selected based upon financial need and potential as determined by the scholarship committee.
